Excellent quality, service and serving size!! Ya'll know I like my food temperature hot and this is!!! Fresh!! Really good coleslaw. Rueben fair... Service, great, they actually help each other!! A great find on Locust Hill Rd/290 in Taylors!!!

The food was good and the service was great. We will definitely be back. I had the calabash chicken side, a meat and three, and peach cobbler. My wife had the ultimate club with fries and onion rings, and blackberry cobbler.

Welcoming staff w wonderful service. Grandson ordered the baby club which he loved. I had a hamburger steak and onion rings. Less than $25, locally owned and every employee is top notch.

Always good food, fast friendly service everything you'd want in a diner like setting!

My wife and I came here to try out and so glad we did. From the time we sat down, we were waited on immediately by super friendly servers. The atmosphere was really cool with old 50's and 60's memorabilia all over the walls and again, the service was top notch. We started off with the loaded potato soup with extra cheese which was great. But what really impressed us was the cornbread! You can tell they don't just throw things in the over and call it done, I could have made a meal of itself out of the cornbread. My wife and I got the Philly cheese steak with sweet potato fries and a side of nacho cheese. The hoagie the steak came on was amazing and the fries were crispy and delicious. We had amazing cheesecake and chocolate cake but was eaten before we took a picture. I would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting your down home southern meal!

I came here to drive thru to order two hot dogs with chili and mustard and onions. I got them in a jiffy. I had a ten minute drive and when I ate my food I was surprised at hot they still were. Super delicious and filling! The gentleman at the drive thru was also very friendly.

I have been eating here for 40 years. The menu has expanded from the Pleasant urg location, and is still just as great and in many ways much better.

Tonight was a quick trip to Lil' Rebel. It's a Taylors-Greer staple. It's your typical Greek Family joint. Part fast food, part hamburger stand, part casual family restaurant. They opened not long after we moved into the neighborhood 20 years ago. A generation ago they were towards downtown Greenville opened by the current owners' parents. It's got lots of parking. The brick and wood interior is casual and clean. It's decorated with old soft drink signs, a dairy fridge door, and a wall of autographed celebrity photos. There is even a room in the back that can be reserved for parties! The service is top notch. The wait staff is always hopping. And even with a room full of customers the staff is friendly and attentive. No drink isn't refilled twice unless you just refuse. We are treated like family. (Once years ago, we stopped by after our house fire and we apologized to our waitress for smelling like smoke. She asked what was up and we stumbled through our recent happening. She sat down with us and cried. The owners refused to let us pay for dinner AND gave us gift cards. During the COVID shutdown we made it our mission to get drive-thru weekly. Partly to help them stay afloat in horrible times and partly to see our friends.) The cooks are either very fast or semi-psychic--they must know what I want and prep as I'm ordering. Okay, so let's get to the food. In no particular order here are my favorites: Greek Salad. Dry rub buffalo wings. Beef and lamb gyro. Bacon mushroom Swiss burger. BLT. Meat & two: fried chicken, mac & cheese, broccoli & cheese, & cornbread. Combination cold plate (deli cold cuts, cheese, cole slaw, and potato salad). Ultimate club sandwich. Philly Steak sandwich. Flounder sandwich. Salmon plate with a baked potato. Calabash Chicken. Timm! There's no way these items are all on one menu AND good. Well, gentle reader: this is barely scratching the menu. And it's all good. And I haven't gotten to the two dozen side items, or the way you can get fries. Onion rings. Half fries and onion rings. Tater tots. Or the CHEESECAKES and cobblers and cookies! You want a cheeseburger? You want a dinner salad? You want fish? You want a steak? Feeling country? How about a veggie plate of pinto beans, turnip greens, fried okra, sweet potato casserole, Texas toast and a seeet tea? Do you want a country fried steak with a dinner roll, Cole slaw, fries, a side of pork chops, hush puppies, and a cup of gravy? You got it.

Man! I love the hot dogs here. And the chicken salad sandwich is delicious! I haven't been able to try anything else when I've come here with my best friend because the hot dogs are always calling my name. Love it!
